I have always delighted in new beginnings---the first day of school, the first day of vacation, the first day of Fall, the start of a new knitting project...you get the picture.

I love the clean slate, the prospect of a new adventure and for the exciting charge of new ideas.

January holds that magic for me.  With the Holidays in our rear view, ahead is simply new adventures, ideas, projects---my mind races with all the designs I have mentally qued.  I so wish I could knkit as fast as my mind jumps from profect to project.

As I am writing this blog, I have approximately 4 inches remaining on the last sleeve of my newest sweater design "Simply Chic".  This is a delightful classic design knitted with Plush DK in colorway Robin's Egg from On The Round located in Rockland Maine.

I purchased this wool from Knit Wit Yarn Shop located in Portland Maine.  I am expecting to finish, block and photograph this upcoming week.  Hopefully I can make a full descripition with photos for next weeks blog.

I have recently joined the Seasons Club sponsored by Carol Feller the owner and operator of Stolen Stitches located in Cork Ireland.

I am incredibly excited for this new adventure.  The Seasons Club offers:

"FUTURE SEASON INSTALMENTS

Each season will be different with varied pattern(s), yarn, colors, and extras. What will remain the same is the excellent video workshops and the exclusive, supportive community. Some seasons (such as Autumn) will have several small patterns, but others will have a single larger project. Each season will be open to orders for only 2 weeks. Once the club closes the first packages will begin shipping the following month. Subscription renewals will be billed for the next instalment on the 1st day of the following Season month (3 months after the previous order). They will renew at the very start of the month to ensure that all subscribers get their preferred colour choice."  Stolen Stitches

When my first installment arrives, I will sure to photograph the and share the wool.

Until next time,

Leona
